I lead the creative direction for Elevate, Command Alkon’s annual user conference. Overseeing everything from printed materials and keynote videos to environmental branding and wayfinding. I manage the full visual experience, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
Problem
The old Elevate branding didn't pair well with the updated visuals of Command Alkon and was not accessible at scale.
Solution
Gain approval from leadership on a rework of the conference's visual identity and update all conference material and assets.
Results
A seamless attendee experience but also increased in sponsorships and helped positioned the company as a forward-thinking industry leader.

Visual Identity Updated
The previous Elevate logo lacked a strong connection to the event’s purpose and to the Command Alkon brand. The goal of the update was to create a mark that embodied the theme of “elevating the industry” while remaining simple, recognizable, and flexible enough to pair with other logos.
Reasons for updating the logo:

Clarity of purpose: The old mark didn’t reflect the event’s role in driving innovation and progress in the industry.

Brand alignment: A refreshed logo tied Elevate more closely to the Command Alkon identity, strengthening recognition.

Versatility: The new design needed to scale across digital, print, and event environments while pairing seamlessly with partner logos.

Modernization: A more contemporary look brought fresh energy and relevance to the event’s visual identity.
I incorporated upward arrows into the opening of the logo, using a cut-out “E” to form a versatile mark. This captured the idea of moving forward while also creating an icon that could stand alone within the event app. To visually connect the event back to Command Alkon, I used core brand colors, but infused them with more saturated blues and gradients to bring energy and excitement to all event materials.

Elevate Assets
Conference badges were designed with a clean, color-coded system to make it easy to distinguish attendees, employees, and sponsors at a glance. On the reverse side, I included a scannable QR code that linked directly to the event app, alongside Wi-Fi credentials and a simplified venue map for quick access.

Across the venue, the refreshed Elevate branding extended with large-scale pillar wraps spanning multiple conference levels, reinforcing brand presence and helping guide attendees through the space. In addition, I created swag, social media graphics, the event brochure, and the sponsor prospectus, each asset carrying the updated identity and building momentum leading up to and throughout the conference.
Enviromental Designs
I designed the environmental assets with the conference theme, “Creating Tomorrow, Today,” in mind. Emphasizing innovation, forward-thinking, and the future of the industry. By integrating these elements with other branded and sponsor materials on the main level, the entire conference space not only welcomed attendees but also reinforced a cohesive, immersive brand experience from the moment guests arrived.

Event Wayfinding
Because Elevate spans multiple levels, I designed wayfinding assets to help attendees navigate the space easily and stay connected to the event app for schedules and directions.
Key elements included:

Branded meterboards near escalators and elevators with custom illustrated maps highlighting key areas

Meterboards listing room numbers by floor for quick reference

Directional pillar wraps throughout the halls featuring clear, arrow-based signage
These wayfinding assets created a seamless experience for attendees while reinforcing the Elevate brand across every touchpoint.
Keynote Video - Art Direction
The keynote sets the tone for the entire Elevate conference, and I led the creative direction for the opening video that introduced it. I partnered with company leadership to shape the script and storyboard, making sure the messaging aligned with the conference theme.
Once the concept was approved, I collaborated with a video editor to produce a high-energy opening video that played before the CEO took the stage. I also directed a series of supporting videos for each keynote speaker, ensuring a consistent visual and narrative flow throughout the event.
